2012 In Review

I have a lot to catch up on of our happenings in December, but we'll get to that later.

What a year 2012 was for us! It was loads of fun and a roller coaster of emotions.

January
Winter camping at the Byer's Lake Public Use Cabin
We tried to enjoy as much of the Alaska winter as we could. It was a record breaking year for snow fall.

February
Family Outing to Potter's Marsh Boardwalk
March
How we announced the pregnancy to family and friends
April
Easter Sunday
May
Walking down the pier in Seward
My family (mom, dad, Nicole & Addie, Melanie, and Dustin) surprised me for my birthday. It was awesome! I loved having them up here. While they were here we went on a Sealife cruise down in Seward.

June
Our annual Father's Day t-shirt
July
4th of July at the Moore Family Reunion
We visited family back in Utah during the beginning of July. After a fun week with my family we made it up to the Moore Family Reunion as well.

August
Train trip to Seward
We scored some free tickets to ride the Alaska Railroad so we took a day trip down to Seward and visited the Sealife Center.

September
Our 1st family photo with Ezra
My grandparents came up to Alaska on a cruise and then spent a few days with us in Anchorage. It was fantastic having them here. We introduced them to the game of Rummikub, which they have since purchased for themselves.

We also welcomed Ezra into our family and have thoroughly enjoyed being a family of four.

October
How to Train Your Dragon: Moore Style
My mom made it up for a visit at the end of October. It was nice to have her come up again. We celebrated Halloween all together and took it easy.

November
Thanksgiving family photo
We had Thanksgiving with some Air Force friends this year. The food was scrumptious as usual, and we had a good time visiting and the boys (meaning Brigham and the other adult males) had fun throwing balls back and forth in the Apartment complex hallway.

December
Family Christmas Pjs
Andy turned 2 years old! Wow...

We also visiting family for two weeks at the end of December for the Christmas and New Years Holidays. The only thing I really dislike about Alaska is the long distance it is from family and the large sums of money it takes to get home to visit.

2012 was a great year and we know that 2013 will be an exciting one as well!
