It's Official

USU has now become my Alma Mater....

I've learned a lot over the past 4 1/2 years that I've been here, and I think one of my favorite classes was Oceanography. Mainly because I learned so many random facts that actually pertained to many of my conversations.

Don't I look studious and educated in this picture?

Now I'm off to the next big adventure of my life.... a 6-month unpaid internship. Yipee!

Peace Out USU.

My Last Paper

I just finished the last paper of my under-graduate career.

Go me!

Let it be known that my last paper was for Dr. Scheer's Music History II class, and that it was on Italian Serious Opera.

[This of course does not include any of my internship requirements... that is in a league of its own.]

F.H.E. Name Poems

On Monday, for our FHE activity, Brigham had us come up with "poems" about each other using the letters from our names. They turned out pretty sweet.

Feel free to take a gander, and tell us whose you liked best.

*Disclaimer: I had been studying for a Human Anatomy test 10 out of the 15 previous hours, so that is why you find strange anatomy terms popping up in my poem. :)

Amazingly patient with me. He has a...

On top of the world, and he's a
Rock climbing fanatic, but most of all... He has

CHELSEA SUZANNE
by Brig
Cheerful Chelsea with,
Her happy heart.
Ever ecstatic for everyone,
Laughs loudly at my jokes,
She slurps her soup softly,
Excitedly eating beside me.
Always an awesome amiga,
She shares her smiles freely.
Undoubtedly under appreciated for her
Zany zodiac-puzzle skills.
Anatomy actually comes naturally
Not even niffling up her nose hairs.
Now you know why she is
Everyone's biggest fan.

Food Deformities

1st- The Potato Eye

My little sister hates potato eyes, so when I saw this one I had to take a picture of it. It's more like a tree growing out of the potato than anything.

2nd- The 3 Leaf Marshmallow

My little brother loves marshmallows, so when I saw this I had to take a picture. I know that three-leaf clovers aren't normally lucky, but I felt like this 3-leaf marshmallow was.

3rd- Mr. Tomato Head

My family loves tomatoes. Growing up my dad would cut up tomatoes and cucumbers and we would all call it a feast.

Because we love tomatoes, my dad planted some in the garden and this guy showed up this past summer. When I saw the little spike sticking out the side I couldn't help but to draw a face on him.

Last Night's Prayer

So, last night I was kinda tired.

And it was my night to say the prayer.

I started it off just fine, saying exactly what I meant to say, but then I started drifting...

I was praying, yet dreaming at the same time.

I came to after I said, "Please bless the ceramic membrane."

I instantly realized what I had done, and I believe that I said, "What the crap?" and then proceeded to ask Brig how long I had been mumbling.

He said that my prayer was fine up until that point.

So yes, I totally fell asleep while praying.... out loud.

Just thought you might want to know.
