So currently as I write this Andy is sleeping in his crib... but it's whatev.
He's actually been doing really well with the transition.
We scored a toddler bed and a massive bucket of trains from a family that moved out of our ward for $20. It was awesome. Andy digs the trains and we finally put the bed together a couple weeks ago.
We moved the bed into his room with his crib and the first week he was awesome. Slept in the bed during nap time and night time and never got out.
Then one day he decided he didn't want to nap. He was playing with the door stop (he loves the noise it makes) and then turning off the monitor. After going in a couple times I put him in the crib.
It's been off and on. Sometimes he'll choose the bed and other times he chooses the crib.
I figured it was okay for some transition time, and we don't need the crib for the baby because we have a pack n' play we can use.
He loved helping Brig put the bed together.
And he really does enjoy the bed. He likes to get cozy with all his stuffed animals and blankets.
It's so crazy that he's already old enough to be sleeping in a big boy bed. Time never slows down!

We had the same experience with Gordon - loved the bed a few days then went back to the crib. We left them both in there and he gradually transitioned. It all works. In other news - he is a really cute boy, and growing so fast! We'd love to see you all next time you come down!
