Good Friends and Good Laughs

This is the last installment from our first trip down to Utah this summer.

One thing I love about visiting Logan is that we get to not only spend time with family...

But some of our amazing friends as well!

It's hard to see all of the people we want to, but we got a decent selection.

We met some really amazing people when we were down in Alabama for ASBC and there are about 4 or so of those people that are stationed at Hill Air Force Base. It was fun to go down and see all of them again and reminisce a bit. I unfortunately did not take any pictures.

We also spent some time with the Snelgroves! Love them so much.

And Andy agrees with us. Don't let his face fool you.

There were a couple times we got to hang out with the Bouchers. We were glad we got to see them, because Lindsie was due right when we were there and we weren't sure if the timing would line up.

But it did! Thank you little Ethan for waiting...

The second time we got together with the Bouchers, the Kimbers were there too! We had some delicious grilled pizza. (Thank you Atkinsons!) My dad thought that it was the most amazing thing in the world and would basically tell us so after every bite he took. :)

And there was also some ping pong. Josh was the overall winner, and I'll have you know that I came the closest to beating him.

Thankfully we also got to see some High School friends. We wished we could have seen more, but the timing was off and it just gets harder as we all move away.

The Petersons...

And the Lees!

We're glad that their little girl waited to make her appearance too. It was fun to play games and catch up a bit.

The next collection of pictures are reminders of some of our favorite humorous events that took place while we were visiting.

First...

My dad has his knee scoped when we were down there, and the nurses thought they would be funny and paint his toes. :) The really disturbing part about this whole shananagin was that he left them painted for several days. His claim is that he didn't know how to remove it.

Second...

Barkley the Burrito. I feel like all I need to say is Brigham was involved...

Third...

Melanie and Lacy dressed up for Harry Potter 7: Part II. I loved Mel's costume for Professor Trelawney.

Fourth...

Dominion with the "Possession" card.

For those that don't know, Dominion is a game that we like to play and one of the new cards we played with this time was called "Possession." It basically allows you to control an extra hand of the player to your left. Dustin was the King at using this card.

He played his possession, so after her turn Yeon Mi had to play another hand (which was possessed by Dustin). During that possession he "possessed" Chase 2 times. During one of those times he was possessing Chase he possessed me. Luckily I didn't have a possession so he couldn't possess Brig... follow me?

We all thought it was hilarious, and that it would have been awesome if Dustin would have been able to make it all the way around the table and end up possessing himself.

Ah. Good times.

And that is a wrap on Trip numero uno down to Utah this summer. More to come on trip numero dos thanks to Chase and Yeon Mi, and all the goodies that took place inbetween.
