It was TOTALLY Wicked!

So, for Christmas this past year, my TOTALLY awesome parents gave all the children tickets to see the musical "Wicked" in Salt Lake City. [This includes sons-in-law, but excluding Chase...he's on a mission.] The scheduled date was Wednesday the 22nd of April.

On this the scheduled date of departure, Melskizzles [my sister] realized that she had a track meet that day. We weren't sure if she was going to be able to compete, but we worked out a scheme where the entire family would meet down at Logan High and watch Mel compete and then take off for the show. So...that is exactly what we did.

-Nicole works there, so she was already there.

-Dustin goes to school there, so he was already there too.

-Melanie...well of course she was there.

-Brig had Russian tutoring on campus so he was going to meet us down there.

-Elder Chase was serving faithfully in Tico Land, aka Costa Rica.

-The rest of us [Mom, Dad, Talon, & Me] all came together.

Melanie did TOTALLY awesome in her track meet. I believe she got 2nd place behind one of her fellow team mates. Melanie PRed (personal record) for the height of the bar, and we were all Super excited. She had a TOTALLY awesome cheering section.

After the awesomeness of the track meet all 8 of us piled in my dad's white van dubbed "The Dog House" and made our way down to Salt Lake for the show! It was very enjoyable and everyone loved it.
