The Z-man is ONE!

I can hardly believe that it has already been a year. Andy's first year of life went fast, but Ezra's went even faster!

A year ago our adorable boy looked like this:
Now he is cuter than ever and getting to be busy, busy, busy... just like his brother.
When I think about the past year with Ezra I recall what a fantastic baby he was and what a joy he has been to our family.

Just this morning he cuddled with me in my bed for a bit and fell asleep for a little longer. Andy came in to wake me up and when he realized Ezra was in the bed he was so happy. Both of the boys started squealing with delight at seeing each other.

Ezra shares his special day with my brother Chase. I made sure to get a couple shots of the Birthday Boys together.
Brig got to FaceTime in for the festivities. This is the only pic I got of him (aka my phone).
Andy enjoyed the festivities probably more than Ezra did. And since Ez wouldn't keep his birthday hat on Andy wore it for him.
He also really enjoyed his cupcake, courtesy of Liz Barnard.
(She makes delicious gourmet cupcakes, by the way...)
On his actual birthday we had a small gathering of some family for dinner and dessert and then a few presents. Then on the 23rd we had a bigger family gathering for dinner and cupcakes.

Here are some of the pics I got on his actual birthday:
Ez with his favorite person. My dad can't walk by and not pick him up or he will have a fit.
Lovin' some peaches and tomatoes.
It took him a bit, but he finally got into the cupcake and by the looks of it, he enjoyed his gourmet cupcake just as much as Andy.
His first experience with milk. He's a believer. Nothing quite like a sippy of milk after a cupcake.
Andy has a kid's Camelbak water bottle that Ezra always tried to steal, so for his birthday Andy gave Ez his very own bottle and little soccer ball.
From my mom Ezra got a fun little Alphabet train. Andy was VERY excited about it. In fact, when we opened the box and he looked inside Andy said, "OH MY HECK!" It was hilarious. Utah is already rubbing off on him.
When Grandpa Barney started reading a story to Brookie we had to grab a picture. It was a precious moment.
And here is Brookie with her daddy on his special day.

Happy Birthday to my little bud! Can't wait for many, many more!
