A Day at the Park

Last Saturday we took the boys (Oliver and Andy) to a super cool park up here in Anchorage.  The first thing we did was go on a walk to a marsh to check out the ducks.

 The boys really wanted to touch the water...

 And on the way back, Brig picked up a walking stick and Andy really wanted to share it with him.

 Then Oliver joined in on the walking stick fun.

 So the dads fashioned some shorter sticks that were just their size. Oliver wielded his more like a sword.

 Ever since last Saturday Andy has been using whatever he can find around the house for a walking stick.

We got back to the park and checked out the slides. Andy's face in this picture is really funny, but he loved going down the fast slide.

 There was also a kiddie park so we spent some time over there. Brig wasted no time at all getting Andy on the "rock wall."

 Swinging was also to be had. There were lots of giggles and smiles from the boys while we were swinging.

 Another fun part of this park was this jungle gym they had. Brigham had fun climbing around on it, and then got Andy up there with him. Andy was trying to lick the jungle gym... not sure why.

Oh, and by the way... we found out last week that we are expecting another boy to be joining our family in September! I'm still outnumbered.
