Besides just eating a good meal and listening to an awesome speaker, we got to witness Brig and all the other commissionees drink from the grog, which is supposed to be a gross concoction.
Awards were also given at the end of the evening. Brig and Kara received the "Distinguished Graduate" award... which is pretty awesome. It's one of the awards that he actually gets to take with him as a 2nd Lieutenant.

Erick has never had to drink from the grog because it's an alcoholic concoction. I hadn't thought about what they would do in Utah. Perhaps a soda/kool-aid concoction? Fun!
Good luck with everything in the Air Force. My brother loves it so far, and we love the Army. I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute!
